-    With confidence in the economy returning, weddings are becoming a showcase of the bond that the bride and groom share together and are moving away from the standard wedding venue packages.
-    The Do-It-Yourself wedding trend continues, but has taken on a refined and homespun feel , it has become more of a theme than an effort to reduce the bottom line. This trend just embraces the coming wedding season’s love of natural pastel colours.
-    The world’s leading event designers are moving from round tables to long. Lengths of polished cutlery and glassware encourage intimate conversation – and most importantly don’t leave any guest with their backs to the bridal table. To perfect this look, run a length of mirror base down the centre of the table and fill with crystal candleholders and polished vases full of elegant flowers.
-    Most couples who are getting married now have lived together for some time and often have children. The traditional bridal registry has taken on a new face with Honeymoon Registries available through your local travel agency, where your guests will give a cash gift which will be accrued toward your dream honeymoon. Cash gifts are now very acceptable with a range of innovative and creative ideas from wishing wells, gift tree’s and birdcages being used to collect your guests well wishes and gifts – just make sure to include details of your desired method in your invitations.
-    Weddings are becoming smaller and more intimate with only the closest friends and family attending the reception, the focus will be on exquisite food, great entertainment and tailored décor.
